Los latidos del corazón nunca callan. Poesías y canciones rebeldes zapatistas is published for the first time in Spain as part of the European Zapatista tour "Por la vida". At a time when it is urgent to acknowledge, make visible and learn from these other worlds that are possible and powerful.

In this book we present a limited selection of thirty poems and songs from the five caracoles that were performed in 2016 and 2017 by Zapatista support bases during the CompArte por la Humanidad festival. They are an example of the fusion of art and Zapatism, which ist understood as an organic process in the history of this revolutionary movement and which has shaped the extremely creative and inspiring style of its politics.

The texts were compiled by Francisco de Parres Gómez and Carolina Díaz Íñigo (COTRIC - Colectivo Transdisciplinario de Investigaciones Críticas) and by Natalia Arcos and Alessando Zagato (GIAP - Grupo de Investigación en Arte y Política). With a foreword by Alicia Castellanos and Gilberto López y Rivas.

The purchase of this book supports the autonomous communities, since a large part of the proceeds from its distribution goes directly to the Zapatista comrades.
